Welcome to GCCI
The Programme Department plays an important role in undertaking activities that meet the needs of cancer patients all over the country. GCCI reaches out to thousands of suffering cancer patients and supports them medically, physically, psychologically and financially.
GCCI’s areas of activities include :
  • Conducting cancer screening and detection camps;
  • Conducting cancer awareness programs for general public, school/college students, RWAs, Corporate etc.
  • Plying mobile vans for cancer detection and diagnosis in villages, slums, and remote areas;
  • Providing laboratory facilities for Blood, X-ray and Mammography tests at affordable costs for poor people;
  • Providing Palliative Home care services to the affected people;
  • Giving educational sponsorship to children with cancer /children from cancer-affected families;
  • Providing counseling and guidance services to patients;
  • Running training and up-gradation courses for Doctors, paramedics, laboratory technicians, and nurses;
  • Extending limited monetary helps to patients to enable them meet immediate medical needs;
  • Providing rehabilitation services to cancer patients/their family members through vocational training programs; and
  • Providing referral services to the patients.
GCCI runs two Primary Health/Cancer Screening Centres at Kishan Garh (near Vasant Kunj), New Delhi, and at Sector 49, Gurgoan (Haryana). The Gurgoan Centre has been allotted by the Govt. of Haryana in appreciation of the work carried out by GCCI over the years.
Geographical reach of GCCI activities:
Spread over 12 states, 21 districts, and 22 sub-divisions in the entire length and breadth of the country, GCCI strives to reach out to thousands of affected people through its 22 projects. Though increasing costs of projects and services strongly binds us from stretching our feet further, yet it is our earnest desire that the benefits of our projects are made available to more and more affected people.

It has regional offices at Chandigarh, Bhopal, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Representative offices at Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Jabalpur, Goa, Hyderabad and Kottayam.
